How to find us |
Christ Church is at 953 Pershore Road (A441) in Selly Park,
almost opposite the entrance to Hobson Road. We are on bus routes 45, 45A,
47 and 47A. Multimap reference (opens new window/tab) Google Maps reference (opens new window/tab) Google Street View (opens new window/tab)
Latitude: 52°26'18.12" N
Longitude: 1°55'0.13" W Note that some mapping services incorrectly label our site as Selly Park Baptist Church, which is actually 200 metres further south along Pershore Road, on the junction with Selly Park Road. Satellite/aerial photos can also be misleading because they show our building under construction or even with the old buildings still on the site. |
|
Car parking |
There is a limited amount of off-road parking space at the rear of the
church building. There are two disabled parking spaces, one at the
rear and the other at the front.
Parking on Pershore Road is prohibited during weekday rush hours, but permitted at other times. In practice everyone can park within reasonable walking distance. If you do need to park close by, it would be best to let us know in advance. There is a cycle rack next to the car park entrance. |
|
Notice sheet |
A notice sheet is printed each week and distributed at Sunday services.
Notices can be submitted by email - by Wednesday, please,
for inclusion on the following Sunday.
Recent notice sheets are available for download. |
|
Special needs |
There is wheelchair access (via ramps) to both front and rear of the building.
All the public areas are on the ground floor, and are accessible to wheelchair
users.
A hearing loop is installed in the main hall, and is in use for morning services. The disabled toilet doubles as a baby changing room. |
|
Room hire |
There is more information about the facilities of the building elsewhere on this website. Please contact us if you wish to enquire about using any part of the building, for either regular or one-off use. |
