Summer Drop-In 2016

Conversation around the kitchen hatch

On a few days each August, when most regular activities take a break, we open our building to provide play, company, crafts and more for adults and children. It’s a great opportunity for people of all ages to find company and enjoy the activities, whatever the weather.

There are three Summer Drop-in sessions in August 2016:

Thursday August 4
Thursday August 18
Thursday August 25

Each runs from 10 am to 2 pm. Just come and go as you please between those times. The entrance is at the back of the building.

Anyone is welcome – young, old, families, individuals – but please note that children must be supervised. We ask for £1 per adult and 50p per child which includes the cost of refreshments and all the activities.

Refreshments include cake, tea, coffee and squash. These are available throughout the session in the smaller hall, which is set out café style. Most guests also bring a packed lunch.

Spread throughout the building are Toddler Club equipment and toys, games and puzzles (including a Wii) for older children, table tennis, table football and crafts. At about 11 am children are invited to join in with a Bible story and an associated craft activity.
